meoraeSo we got our midterm grades in spanish today. K4 calculates mine, recalculates it and shows me that it's a 70.8. I had an A- last term and she knows I'm normally a good student, had no idea why my grade had dropped that low and so she told me to come after school to talk about extra credit. I do and she tells me that I shouldn't stress out about it, that she'll let me retake the pop quiz I got a 0 on, and that I can bring stuff in for the troops in Iraq and I'll get extra credit. So, as I was walking home, I was trying to figure out how my grade had got so low, when I only got a 0 on one quiz and got B's and A's on everything else. I come home and look over my past quizzes and tests. For some reason K4 recorded my chapter 12 test grade wrong. She wrote that I had a 495 when I actually got a 595. So my grade should actually be a B- as I thought it was. If I retake the quiz and get a 100 on it, then I have a B+. With the extra credit and rest of the quizzes/tests/projects this term, I should be getting an A. But she wrote down my grade wrong and completely freaked me out.
All of my teachers are allowing me to go into Honors, so now I just need to get Kate to sign the sheet and choose an elective. I'm not too sure if I want to take classics anymore, though. 'Cause I don't like the writing of the Greeks or Romans, I don't really have an interest in them and as Cecille has said, I only really like their myths. As the class wouldn't be only about greek and roman myths, I think that I will probably be bored out of my mind. So I don't know. There's no other classes that I can and want to take. Although I'm thinking about taking drama or starting french.
Oh and math today was cool. See a few days ago, Morgan wrote on the back black board in the math room 'I sees you' many times. So obviously Carol can't resist the temptation and changes as many as she can to 'I sees yaoi.' Morgan gets mad and writes 'Carol is a cheerleader' and 'Dragon ball z rules the world' or something like that. Now that was a few days ago. Today, she wrote in huge letters 'Carol is a cheerleader' and Danny Chin wrote 'DBZ pwnz Carol.' So Carol adds above the first one 'everyone except' and changes the DBZ to yaoi and added 's classmates to the end of Carol. Kraus starts class and so they stop writing things on the board, but Danny, Morgan and Ana started writing notes making anagrams from yaoi. They came up with things like 'you are overly idiotic' and other stuff like that. Carol writes back with the actual anagram and they try to figure out what it says. Danny goes up to the front of the room with a proof and on the bottom, he wrote 'Carol is a cheerleader.' So although no one could read it, the whole class saw that. Then, for some reason, they start writing random messages in different languages. Two of the messages were in french and Emily didn't help us translate it because she's mean and evil. So we write them down and take them to Rachel to translate during lunch. The next message was in arabic. So we take that to lunch also and Hannie 'knows' arabic; however, we find out that he can only speak it. He spends the whole lunch wandering around trying to find someone he knew who also knew arabic. So basically, the six of us didn't pay attention to math at all today and Carol, Elisabeth and I want revenge. Anyone who wants to give us random phrases to translate into russian/spanish/latin/german tell us. Or if you know any other languages help us with random translations. Or if you have any other ideas to get back at them.
