Jun. 19th, 2005 05:25 pmSo Friday was the boring award ceremony. And I got an award for good citizenship in math. Right. No idea why I got that, but whatever. Congratulations to everyone who got one and everyone else who deserved to get one.
Friday night was relay for life. It was fun, although my legs still hurt. Many memories: alex and bondage, playing charades in the middle of the night, pam and mango juice, sleep-deprived jess and truck noises, midnight group walk with bubbles, comments of the sophomore and junior group next to ours, freshmen group next to ours being proud of lighting their shoe on fire, girl scout songs, josh and steve walking together, only half an hour of sleep, the group dances, and finally morgan and "oh my god you have an axe" as I was leaving.
Our group cleaned up and left at 10, two hours before it was over, as we were all tired. I took a hot bath when I got home and then slept for six hours, although my dad woke me up saying that I shouldn't be screwing up my sleep schedule. So I watched Spirited Away with my family and then went to bed at 8. I got 14 hours of sleep last night.
Then this morning, my mom made waffles and then we went to the DeCordova museum as my dad wanted to go and see the exhibits. We just got back and now I get to study for finals and write my pottery essay. One more week.
