So I haven't updated in like a month. Right. Nothing much has happened. I went to Shakespeare in the Park and saw Taming of the Shrew. I saw Bye Bye Birdie, and then last friday, Pippin at the regent. And on Saturday I went to the Ipswich sandcastle competition with my family and Rachel. And that's about it. I've been babysitting, reading, and my brother got me to start my own character in his Animal Crossing game, so I've been playing some of that too. And I've realized that I should probably get started on my summer reading.

So, what were ya'll's opinions of the science books? Which of them should I choose to read?

And also, who is planning to go to the GSA meeting next monday? I'm around and could go, but I'm not actually sure I'd like to go. Seems to me that club meetings signify school and shouldn't be a part of the summer, but whatever. If other people are going, I'd go. So is anyone else gonna go?

*randomglomp* I didn't hear about this GSA meeting, but it seems like too much work to go over the summer. :P I'm reading Naturalist, by Wilson, and it's really pretty good (if rather long). I'd recommend it. I also read about half of Ishmael before noticing that I was reading two science books (--;), and that one's... interesting. I don't know about the others.

I got an email this morning saying there's a GSA meeting next monday at 7 in the evening. And some other stuff.

I could look it up myself, but I'm lazy. So what are the Naturalist and Ishmael about?

Naturalist is about the life of this naturalist dude. *Nods* And Ishmael is about a guy being taught how to save the world. By a gorilla. *Helpful*

I think I'll go to GSA. Science books: Prodigal Summer is what I'm reading, it's going to be hard to connect to science because it's not ABOUT science, it has facts thrown in every now and then. It's good narration, and I like Barbara Kingsolver, but it's like a soap opera with random facts and really similar *(to eachother) characters, so I wouldn't read it.
