Nightmares
Jan. 22nd, 2006 02:08 pmLast night, as I was dreaming about random stuff happening, you know everything you forget when you wake up unless you're katie, I somehow ended up in my room, looking out my window. And every single nightmare I have seems to deal with that window, whether it's a tree (that in real life is nowhere close to the window) falling through and killing me in my sleep, or a lion I see outside and feel the need to pet and nearly get eaten, or a person with a knife coming up behind me to stab me, or whatever. Well last night, I was looking out this window in my dream and somehow I spend like 10 minutes just looking without noticing that my mom's car was somehow crashed into the side of our garage. But when I notice that, I run outside and find my mom extremely hurt in the car and that's when I woke up. It was 5 in the morning and it's one of the first nightmares I've had that I can't say that will never happen, that's stupid, etc. because it could happen, maybe not that exact thing, but a car accident of any sort. Every day tons of people are out driving and many accidents occur. And every day, that person in an accident could be my mom or my dad or my brother or someone else I care about.
And after that wonderful paragraph, my science paper is being written! I just got my interview done (over the phone with my mom's friend) and have nearly 9 pages. And I have stuff to write about and will be able to get 15 pages. I have the rest of the afternoon to work and I managed to write a little more than 3 pages yesterday in this amount of time. So I might be able to get like 12 pages by dinner time. And then just writing one page a day this week and I'll be finished. Although then I'll have to edit it and plan my presentation, but whatever. I am not actually screwed. Hopefully not at least.
