How observant are you? Test 1. Test 2.

So do I. XD And I've heard about the first one before, which makes it even more sad that I didn't notice it the first time around...

Haha, I caught both of them, but only because I've encountered them before.

The first one is impressively hard to notice though. Having seen this three or four times, it's pretty much impossible for me to both notice what the bear's doing and come up with an accurate count.

Btw, are you coming to Anthony Rapp tomorrow?

Possibly? I don't know yet. I want to see how I feel after I receive MIT's decision in 20 minutes.

The first time I saw it, I completely missed it. The second time, I saw the bear, but couldn't keep track of the passes. But the third time I watched, I was able to count the passes as well as see the bear. It's interesting because I've read about this before (although I don't think it was a bear, it was some other animal) and yet, I completely missed it anyways.

The second one, I was thinking about learning that card trick years ago at College Academy and trying to remember how to do it, rather than actually watching the screen. I'm not sure I would have seen it even if I had been paying attention, though...

The first time I saw the first trick, it was a gorilla. I watched it again just now, and I can keep track of both. The problem before was that there was this point when while watching the bear, I'd start counting one of the black team's passes and then have to find the white ball again, missing both a pass or two and what exactly the bear was doing for that time. But I don't seem to be doing that today. Hmm...

The very first time I saw the second one, I spotted the last two changes (other than the cards). However, given that we were watching it in psychology right after the "moonwalking gorilla", I also guessed that there was more to it than the card trick. I doubt I would have noticed it in another context.

I've decided not to. Have fun if you go, though.

I LOVE THOSE I've seen the first one before with a gorilla. I only caught one color change on the second, though. But they're amazing.
