Sep. 8th, 2006 06:44 pmI'm gonna drop spanish come monday. Even though like 10 more people joined my class today, there is still no one I can stand talking to, much less am friends with in my class. Also, the two classes I've had give every indication that I'll hate K4 as much this year as I did in freshman year. And the two hours I've had of spanish so far, give every indication that I'll despise the class within a couple of weeks and hate going to spanish. Plus, I've never really enjoyed spanish class and I know enough now that I could read books in spanish, watch movies in spanish, read fanfic in spanish and eventually learn the other verb tenses and new vocabulary. Yes, I'm still trying to justify dropping spanish to myself... I mean my dad completely understands why I want to drop it, and has offered to go in and talk to people if need be, but I feel like I'm gonna regret my decision.
So now I need to figure out something I can take instead of spanish as I don't want any more directed studies. I'm thinking of talking to Muise about taking pottery for the four directed studies I have because of chemistry, so that I then only have four directed studies, due to survival, instead of the eight I currently have. But then I still need to figure out a class that I can take for 4th period instead of spanish.
I have homework in all of my core classes this weekend. Although I've done my English homework and if I'm dropping spanish, I don't actually have to do that homework. So I have history, math and science homework, which certainly isn't that bad. I can finish it all in a couple of hours.
