We got another kitty! So, a friend of one of my mom's friends has a son who is allergic to cats. They had two cats and were offering one of them to everyone they knew as the kid's allergies were getting worse because of the cat. My mom called them yesterday and said we'd be willing to take her. My mom and I went over to their house this morning and picked Twinkie up. She's a white cat, two years old and really shy. We brought her home at around 10 this morning and let her out in our dining room and living room. She hasn't moved from under the couch I'm sitting on since then.

I'm "working" on my history essay, or at least I'm trying to. I need to finish it by tonight as I want to sleep in tomorrow and I have to make the birdhouse too, and then I really won't want to write an 8 page paper on a school night.

Also, I'm trying to learn a new way of solving the rubix cube. It's the method that the people who can solve it in like 20 seconds use. But I keep messing up and haven't been able to solve the cube once in two hours, much less in 20 seconds. I'll get it in time.

Edit (1:50): Twinkie's come out from under the couch and is now exploring the living room.

8:00: I've spent this whole afternoon "writing" and I only have 3 pages. I have enough to write about, so I'll get to 6 pages, but I was hoping to finish this tonight and I'm not sure I'll be able to.

It's 6-8 pages. Which is what I'm doing. 6, that is. :P

Mine is the evolution of waste management. It sounds boring, but it's actually sortof interesting. Doesn't mean I'm able to write about it.

And I'll get to 6 pages. Somehow. I'm only at 3.5 pages right now though.

And I have to make the birdhouse today, so I don't know when I'll have time to write. I'll probably end up doing it tomorrow night.
