The one day a year that I regret living so close to Mass Ave. is on Patriot's Day. Stupid annoying parade.

So anyways... Today Katy, Emily and I went on a bike ride to Lexington. We met at Emily's house and got to Lexington before their (as in Lexington's) parade started. So we were able to get fried dough and other stuff without having to deal with the noise of a parade. We went back down the bikepath after wandering around for a while and not finding anything interesting. We hung out at the playground in the Great Meadows and no one else was there, so it was cool, although we did hear the parade go by. Then we went back to Emily's house and hung out there for a while.

My cousin came over for the weekend and left last night. I gave up my room to her, so I spent Friday and Saturday night sleeping on the floor, but it was perfectly fine. We repainted the climbing structure, redid the ropes and I raked up the fallen branches and whatnot from the winter. Our climbing structure still doesn't have floors, but the floors just need to be put in and nailed down; they've been painted.

Twinkie's been wandering around a lot more, although that means she's getting into hissing contests with the rest of our cats whenever they encounter each other. But the cats will get used to each other within a few weeks.

The only things I should be doing this vacation are cleaning my room, practicing piano and writing that poem for english. The first won't happen at all, the second might and the third won't happen until ds on Monday.

It seems like after every vacation or three day weekend, it's a T day when we come back and I have a directed study first period. That's perfectly fine with me.

As my dad has to get up for work tomorrow, he's telling me to get ready for bed. Buenas noches, mis amigos.
