May. 22nd, 2005 12:31 pmSo yesterday, Claire, Elisabeth and I went to Pride. We went at around 2, so the march had already finished and it was just the rally. People standing around in the rain watching a transgender dude rap. It was raining, we didn't see any of our GSA and it was pretty boring. So we decided to go across the street and see what was playing at the theater. The only thing playing in the next hour that wasn't R was Star Wars.
So we ditched Pride to see Star Wars. It was better than Episode I and II, but it still had the crappy dialogue, not too decent acting, and lots of flashing lights and explosions. But what did we expect? Exactly that, so I wasn't disappointed. Although, there's normally more half-naked women running around... In the last fight scene between Obi-wan and Anakin, there was so much sexual tension. And as we learned from Harry Potter, brother means lover... Obi-wan said that he thought of Anakin as his brother and that he loved him, before leaving the burnt corpse on the fiery planet, but that's besides the point.
I still need to write my allegory. But that's not due until Friday, so I probably won't do it.
