meoraeSo I have nearly four pages for the science essay. I have the last two paragraphs to analyze and a concluding paragraph to write. And I just realized that I don't agree with Blakely. Blakely told us that White's arguing that SUVs shouldn't be regulated as passenger cars. And we're supposed to evaluate each of his arguments based on that. But I think that he's actually arguing that SUVs aren't the whole problem and they shouldn't be treated as such. Although his organization skills are lacking, as he mentions it once at the end of the fourth paragraph and then doesn't mention it again until the last four paragraphs, his arguments are actually somewhat decent, although they're not scientific. And my problem is I've just analyzed each of the paragraphs for why they don't support White's opinion that SUVs shouldn't be regulated as passenger cars. Obviously, they don't. He's not only arguing that. And now I basically have to rewrite my essay to say that he's arguing that the issue of pollution isn't just part of the automotive world. School is brain-washing me. I'm now assuming what my teachers, other than k4 and chebator, say is the truth. I'm such an idiot. And I spent all of today "writing" this, um more of getting distracted and coming back an hour later to write a paragraph before getting distracted again, but whatever. *headdesk* I could just continue to argue that his arguments don't work for the issue he's arguing. I probably will as that's easier.
edit: Blakely isn't a complete idiot, though. White is arguing that SUVs shouldn't be regulated, but he's arguing that because he thinks they shouldn't be blamed for air pollution when there's so many other things that cause it. So his reason for writing this article was because people are blaming SUVs and saying they should be regulated when they aren't the only cause. So my essay won't be that hard to edit into saying that.
edit 2: So I finished. And it really wasn't that hard to change. I have four pages now and I'm gonna edit it over the next week. So I got the science essay done. Although not the pottery essay. Oh well, that will probably be pretty easy to complete as it's just two pages. But then I have the history portfolio to complete. Eh, whatever. I'm done for tonight.
