I really don't want to write my history essay and it's not as though it's even that hard. It's on the life of the mill girls and like all of Matson's essays, there isn't a length requirement. We've had a week to do it and I procrastinate way too much. But I got the rest of my homework done and I had homework in all of my classes tonight. And as normally when that happens, I'm rushing to finish some part of the homework the next morning in homeroom, that's an accomplishment.

My brother got a stomach thing somehow and has been throwing up/sleeping all day. He'll be fine if any of ya'll care, but I hope he gets better and that I don't catch it. I've had a sortof cold for two weeks and really don't need anything to add to the sore throat, headache and off and on runny nose. But whatever.

Managed to be one of five people who got high honors in my grade first term. Anyone know why it took the advocate that long to publish the honor roll? Makes me feel special that I beat Bobby, Felicia and Callie, who all got just normal honors. First time I've gotten high honors at high school, also.

I totally should be writing my essay and not procrastinating, but what can you expect from me? Still haven't talked to Tully as I'm very tempted to just keep what I got and if it affects my term grade more than I like, do the extra credit. And the two times I passed her room after school this week and would have gone to talk to her, she wasn't there. And I'm too lazy/forget to talk to her during class.

Right, history essay, of course I'm writing it...

Ya and neither are some other people who I think got honors. Published late and incomplete is better than never or something...

Yeah, I don't think I'm in the paper, but that's a mistake. What are high honors?

I did okay on the presentation bit, and my paper was wonderful, according to tully, but I didn't actually do any hands-on bit.

Like I did research into recent studies, but that was research. And she had said at the beginning of the year that a comparison study would count, but I didn't really do any comparison as 3 am, night before it was due and I just wanted it over with and thought what I had done was enough. I mean I did analyze the recent studies and connect their conclusions to current theories but you can't really see that in the paper.

So I got an 80 because of the whole hands on worth 20 points. I was gonna talk to her about it, maybe write up a comparison thing, as right now the highest I can get is a 94 with 100s on everything, which obviously I won't get. But I don't really care enough and don't really want to do anymore work on the bio project. I learned things, experienced going to school on four hours of sleep on two seperate occasions (paper and presentation) and if it does matter to me later, I can just do extra credit, but I also feel like I should go talk to her. And Carol and people have told me to go talk to her, but I keep forgetting or she isn't there after school. And I dunno.

High honors goes to people who got straight a's. Honors goes to everyone who got only b's and a's. And I would assume that you, Steve and Danny didn't get any c's, but none of you are in there.

...How many points do you really tihnk she'll give you back if you write it up late?

But yeah, talking to her might be good.

She said if I had done anything that I should write it up and submit as she remembered me saying something in my presentation (I had mentioned that I looked at recent studies), but I didn't actually do anything. So she would supposedly give me back some points, but probably only like 5 and I don't really care. Even so, I should still talk to her...

Oh. Well if she said you should do it, you should at least talk to her. :P

*got high honors*

I will FAIL something this term and it will feel GREAT. Seriously. I really want to, which is kind of self-destructive, no?

Second term? Cause the advocate said you got honors first term. But as has been mentioned, it's left out people. Congratulations anyways. I got a b+ second term, so only honors there, but whatever.

Ya, so will I. XD.
