Yeah, it really isn't cool and it's a really stupid move as well. I mean right now, they're saying if you created your account before yesterday, you'll be able to keep your basic account, but everyone seems to think it's only a matter of time before they get rid of basic accounts completely, as this seems to be completely motivated by financial reasons. The main problem I have with this though is the fact that they tried to sneak it by, thinking people wouldn't notice.

Argh, apparently LJ has decided to stop letting me know that someone's responded to a comment I made.
Yeah... I wouldn't exactly be *happy* about it in any case, but the fact that they tried to sneak it in and how easy it would be for them to then just take away basic accounts in general pisses me off.
And uhm... Yeah, that didn't work out, did it? -_-;
